The technical revision it
covered, TR-04, is to inform the Division of the pending installation of a water discharge pipe
and w at the Tri-County Gravel pit. The discharge system is in support of the approved
Colora. o Department of Public Health and Environment discharge permit COG500498 for the
mine. The discharge system will consist of a buried pipe. inlet controls, maintenance accesses,
a segment of ditch, and a parshall flume. The total system will be roughly 900 feet long, running
along the route shown in Figure 1. It will be a 12-inch diameter pipe. The pipe will be the first
and second segment(show in red) with the ditch and flume making up the second segment
(showrj in blue). Maintenance accesses will be located at the turn of the pipe. The pipe is
expected to be reinforced concrete or steel. Roughly 1300 cubic yards will be excavated to
allow tie installation of the system, and then backfilled atop of the pipe. The entire system will
be permanent, remaining on the site following reclamation. Therefore, no bond for removal is
required.
t
,
E.
S
1
1
L•.
1 .
Tri-County TR-04
1 ® Lcn icki N Aesuciatcs
June 2021
,E
a:o,•
