Volume I - Text, Section 2.05.3(2) describes the categories of surface <br />disturbances associated with the underground mining activities of the <br />Bowie No. 1 Mine. The following section describes additional types of <br />disturbances associated with the underground mining activities of the <br />Bowie No. 1 Mine related to the train loadout and stockpile areas: <br />The disturbed areas are shown on Map 7 - Loadout Facilities. <br />(3) Mine Facilities <br />(a) New structures. <br />There are no new structures planned for the train loadout and stockpile <br />areas. <br />(b) Existing structures. <br />1. Unmodified structures <br />1. Haul Roads <br />There are three haul roads, entrances/exits, to the train <br />loadout area. See Section 4.03 and Map 12, Haul <br />Road Plan and Profile for additional details. They are <br />numbered from west to east. <br />Haul road number 1 is approximately 350 feet long and <br />provides access to the truck scales. The maximum <br />and average grade for this haul road section is 10% <br />and 3.4% respectively. <br />Haul road number 2 is approximately 300 feet long and <br />provides access to the truck dump. The maximum and <br />average grade for this haul road section is 9.5% and <br />6.7% respectively. <br />RN -07 2.05-4 02/18 <br />
