4 � OFFICE of ARCHAEOLOGY <br /> and HISTORIC PRESERVATION <br /> Service and Price List <br /> File Searches <br /> A file search is conducted when OAHP staff is asked to supply information concerning cultural resources or cultural <br /> resource surveys in a specific location. File search requests can be placed in person at OAHP, e-mailed <br /> (hc_filesearch@state.co.us), faxed (303-866-2711), or sent by Mail. <br /> File search results are provided in an excel spreadsheet(unless otherwise requested) with an accompanying read- <br /> me document and include information from 34 data fields that are sorted by site number. Exact locations of <br /> archaeological and paleontological sites are only provided to professionals who qualify under the Dissemination of <br /> Cultural Resource Information:Policy and Procedures. <br /> Customized Searches are generally searches based on criteria other than locational attributes. GIS clips and <br /> information in other file formats may be provided on a case by case basis. Please contact OAHP at 303-866-5216 if <br /> you have any questions or to get more information concerning file searches. <br /> Reproductions <br /> Reproductions of OAHP records are available upon request. Locations of archaeological and paleontological sites <br /> are only provided to professionals who qualify under the Dissemination of Cultural Resource Information:Policy <br /> and Procedures. <br /> Reproductions are transmitted electronically as PDFs unless otherwise noted. Some items, including those over <br /> 11X17, are reproduced only on a case by case basis. Items that are not available for reproduction can be viewed <br /> in-house. If you have questions about requesting reproductions or would like to make an appointment to view <br /> records in-house, please contact OAHP at 303-866-3395. <br /> Fees <br /> Requests from students, private landowners, research for SHF grants, and requests from Certified Local <br /> Governments may be eligible for fee reductions or waivers. Under normal circumstances, file search results and <br /> reproductions will be sent out within five business days of the request being received by OAHP. Larger request may <br /> require more time to complete. Requests requiring a faster turnaround time will be assessed a $15.00 surcharge <br /> and will be done as time allows. A flat charge of$288 will be assessed to file searches larger than 36 sections, <br /> 23,040 acres in unsectioned lands, or a combination thereof. Invoices will be mailed in hard copy unless otherwise <br /> requested. <br /> Search of Sectioned Land $8 per section <br /> Search of Unsectioned Land $8 per 640 acres.
