19 May 2021 C-1994-082/Yoast Mine RAR <br /> o Dam outslopes appeared stable and functioning adequately at the time of inspection. <br /> o Pond 10 was full and discharging clear water through the flume. The flume was in good <br /> repair. Many waterfowl were on the pond. <br /> o Pond 14 was holding clear water and not discharging at the time of inspection. <br /> o Pond 12 was discharging clear water at the time of inspection. <br /> o Pond 13 held water and was not discharging at the time of inspection. <br /> SLIDES and OTHER DAMAGE 4.12 <br /> o The site, in the past,has experienced soil movement in the form of slumps and slides. At <br /> the time of inspection no evidence of recent new movement was apparent at any of the <br /> slumped areas. <br /> REVEGETATION-Rule 4.15 <br /> General Requirements 4.15.1; Use of Species 4.15.2, Grazing 4.15.5 <br /> o Reclamation and revegetation have been completed at this site,with most of the site phase <br /> II and Phase III bond released. <br /> o Pond banks and dam outslopes appeared well vegetated at the time of inspection. <br /> o Establishing vegetation on slide and slump areas is problematic due to slope and aspect <br /> and these areas remain sparsely vegetated. <br /> INSPECTION, ENFORCEMENT and CIVIL PENALTIES RULE 5 <br /> Inspections 5.02;Availability of Records <br /> Permit documents were inspected.
