Hays <br /> <br />RE: Walstrum Quarry - File No. M-1983-033, Albert Frei & Sons Inc. <br /> Amendment Application (AM-9) <br /> <br />Please be advised that on May 11, 2021, Albert Frei & Sons Inc., whose address and telephone number are <br />35715 Hwy 40, Building B, Suite 120, Evergreen, CO 80439; (303) 913-6502, filed an application for a/an <br />Amendment (AM- 9) to M1983033, Walstrum Quarry, which is located approximately 4.5 miles East of <br />Idaho Springs, Section 34, Township 3S, Range 72W, 06th Principle Meridian, in Clear Creek County. <br /> <br />Amendment application to add 464.17 acres to the existing 285.13 acre site. <br /> <br />The application decision is scheduled for August 9, 2021. Written comments or objections to the <br />application may be submitted to and additional information obtained from Peter S. Hays at the Division of <br />Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman St. Room 215 Denver, CO 80203, by telephone at (303) <br />866-3567 x 8124. <br /> <br />Albert Frei & Sons Inc. is required to publish a public notice in a newspaper of general circulation in the <br />locality of the mining operation once per week for four consecutive weeks. If you wish to make comments <br />on or objections to the mine plan and/or the reclamation plan, they must be submitted within twenty (20) days <br />of the date of the last newspaper public notice to be considered in the application review process by the <br />Division. You should contact the applicant for the newspaper publication date. If we do not receive your <br />comments or any objection by the end of the public comment period, the Division will assume you have no <br />objection or comment to the proposed activity. <br /> <br />M-GR-03A-P
