EXHIBIT I —SOILS INFORMATION
A copy of the soil information provided by the Phillips County Natural Resource Conservation
Service (NRCS) is attached in the pre-mining section. The NCRS soil maps show the area as a
"Loamy Plains Range Site". It contains three different soil types: an area of the rago series
which consists of rago and kuma silt loams, an area of the Richfield series which is a richfield
loam, and an area of the wages series which is a wages gravelly loam.
The rago and kuma soils are deep, well-drained soils with a slight hazard of erosion, slow
permeability, and high-water holding capacity. The Richfield soils are deep, well-drained soils
with slow permeability and high-water holding capacity. Wages soils are deep, well-drained
soils with moderate permeability, medium internal drainage, moderate to high water holding
capacity, and medium surface runoff.
The elevation at the site is 3,982 feet.
