Containment can be acheived using either secondary containment pans, or low berms that will retain
the volume of fluid of the largest container. The sills are intact, and are in good condition to retain
any fluid spills. The only designated chemical within the mill room is xanthate which is a solid until
added in low concentrations to the mill process. In the event spillage does occur, spill kits are
immediately available within the mill room.
EPF 2 -Warehouse-Storage Building
The warehouse is a steel shipping container with an impermeable floor and impermeable walls. All
chemicals are to be stored in their original containers, or in labeled reagent containers, in designated
areas on the floor, on pallets off of the floor level, and with spill trays underneath the containers as
applicable. It is always recommended that any spills be cleaned up as soon as possible, for both
safety of workers and for protection of the environment. If a catastrophic fluid spill would occur, the
fluid would pool and then migrate toward the door if the pool became deep enough. If the door seal
should leak, fluid would reach soils. Any release to the soils can be remediated by removing the
impacted soils and re-containerizing them.
8 GROUNDWATER INFORMATION
No changes
9 GROUNDWATER QUALITY
No changes
10 SURFACE WATER CONTROL AND CONTAINMENT FACILITES
No changes
11 SURFACE WATER QUALITY STANDARDS
No changes
12 WATER QUALITY MONITORING PLAN
No changes
13 CLIMATE
No changes
14 GEOCHEMICAL DATA AND ANALYSIS
No changes
15 CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULE INFORMATION FOR URANIUM AND ACID MINE
DRAINAGE
No changes
16 QUALITY ASSURANCE AND QUALITY CONTROL PRORAMA FOR URANIUM AND
ACID MINE DRAINAGE
No changes
5
