EXHIBIT B <br /> Rule 6.3.2 <br /> Site Description <br /> (a) Description of the vegetation and soil characteristics in the area of the proposed <br /> operation: <br /> The area of the proposed operation currently consists of rangeland. Vegetation in the area of <br /> proposed operation consists of light native grasses. No timber is located on the area of the <br /> proposed operation. See attached Exhibits B-P and B-22, Land Cover Maps. <br /> According to the National Cooperative Soil Survey/Natural Resources Conservation Service, soil <br /> in the general area of proposed operation consists of Platner loam. Please see attached Exhibit B- <br /> 4,NRCS Soil Resources Report.3 <br /> The subject property is located within the West Greeley Conservation District. <br /> (b) Permanent man-made structures within two hundred (200) feet of affected area and <br /> owner of each structure (structures identified on Exhibit A-2) <br /> Permanent man-made structures within two hundred (200) feet of the affected area consist of the <br /> following structures owned by the landowner: the existing access road, two outbuildings (a <br /> utility and a cattle shed) located on the western side of the proposed operation. small corrals <br /> adjacent to the cattle shed, the southern fence line of the subject property, and the eastern fence <br /> line of the subject property. <br /> (c) Water resources in area of proposed operation <br /> Lone Tree Creek runs through the W1/2 of Sec. 7, T10N, R66W, 6th P.M., which is the section <br /> directly to the east of Sec. 12, in which the subject property is located. At the closest point, Lone <br /> Tree Creek(together with various unnamed in-channel reservoirs) is over a half-mile from the <br /> easternmost boundary of Malone's property (at least 3630 feet, approximately, at the closest <br /> point). Well Permit No. 316106-, owned by Mike G. Malone, is located in the SE CN of the <br /> SW1/4SW1/4, Sec. 12, T1ON, R67W, 6th P.M., at least 311 feet from the proposed operation. <br /> Please see attached Exhibit B-4, Water Resources Map.' Based upon the drilling report for Well <br /> Permit No. 316106-, the area of proposed operation is underlain by bedrock aquifer at a depth of <br /> approximately]70 feet.
