Construction Material Special 111 Operation Reclamation Exhibits <br /> Raindance Reservoir#2 —VIMA Partners, LLC <br /> Exhibit B — Site Description <br /> a) Raindance Reservoir #2 is located in Weld County, Colorado at the southwest corner of <br /> WCR62 and WCR 15. A portion of the existing site consists of tilled, irrigated farmland, <br /> while the other portion of this site was recently developed into a regional detention pond <br /> for Raindance Subdivision just north of the project site. The project site is the location for <br /> a future reservoir to be used by the Raindance Metropolitan District No. 1 Water Activity <br /> Enterprise for irrigation of the surrounding properties. Storage rights for said reservoir <br /> have already been adjudicated through the Colorado District Court, Water Division No. 1, <br /> Case No. 02 CW 391. <br /> The following soil types were observed at the project site by the United States Department <br /> of Agriculture (USDA), and determined through the Web Soil Survey: <br /> Colby Loam (15) and (16) and Weld Loam (79). <br /> The characteristics of the soil found on the project site include low-medium water erosion and low <br /> wind erosion potentials. These soils consist of the following hydrologic soil groups as defined in <br /> the USDA Web Soil Survey: <br /> ❖ Group B— 72.9% <br /> •:' Group C — 27.1% <br /> The USDA web soil survey report is attached herein. <br /> b) Access to and from the site is on the south side of WCR 62. Two existing access points <br /> will be utilized, the one furthest east for entry into the site, and the one furthest west for <br /> exiting the site.
