Please see the Division's findings below regarding the report's compliance with the <br />following Rules. <br />o Rule 2.04.13(1) — The 2020 ARR was received by the Division on 31 March 2021 as an <br />electronic copy. <br />a. The name and address of the permittee is on the report form. <br />b. For the reporting year zero acres of lands were placed in the Acres Disturbed Category. <br />Active mining is not occurring at the site, however reclamation activities are taking place <br />as permitted. <br />c. For the reporting year, zero acres were reported to have been backfilled or graded. <br />d. For the reporting year, zero acres of affected lands were topsoiled. <br />e. Seeding and shrub planting did not occur for the reporting year. The operator conducted <br />weed control activities throughout the site as summarized in the annual report and the <br />submitted weed spray logs. Seed mix for upland sites and ephemeral drainages was <br />included in the submitted report. <br />f. Acres bond released for the reporting year comprised 39.4 acres of Phase II and 315 acres <br />of Phase III reclamation and an additional 193 acres of Phase II for SL8 proposed for <br />release. <br />o Rule 2.04.13(2) —Additional monitoring information in the form sediment pond capacity was <br />included with the report. This information is submitted on a five year schedule for ponds <br />discharging throughout the year. Due to lack of staffing and a global pandemic surveys were not <br />conducted in 2020. The survey will take place over the course of the 2021 field season. <br />a. Colombian sharp tailed grouse leks and populations are monitored. <br />This concludes the Division's review of the 2020 ARR.
