<br /> <br />Notice of Proposed Decision <br /> <br /> <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety has issued a proposed decision to approve <br />Bond Release Application No. 7 (SL-7) for the Seneca II-W Mine, Permit No. C-1982-057. SL 7 <br />constitutes a phase III bond release on 367 acres. The surface operation is operated by Seneca <br />Property LLC under the provisions of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act of 1979. <br />The bond release application was submitted by Seneca Property LLC on June 8, 2020. A partial <br />phase III bond release request for 367 acres, comprising private and federal ownership. The affected <br />area is located in Routt County, approximately 9 miles South of Hayden, Colorado. <br /> <br />Copies of the proposed decision are available for review at <br />https://dnrweblink.state.co.us/drms/search.aspx by searching C1982057 in the “Permit No” field. <br />A user guide is available to help first time users of the imaged document system and can be viewed <br />at https://drive.google.com/file/d/1l8OUdf_Mpjo3kxIHkP5hMH-w7MeBtxX7/view.. <br /> <br />Any person who has an interest which is or may be adversely affected may request an adjudicatory <br />hearing regarding this proposed decision. Requests for a hearing must be made in writing within <br />thirty (30) days of the first publication of this notice, and shall state with reasonable specificity the <br />reasons for the request and objections to the proposed decision. <br /> <br />
