Miranda <br /> Kawcak of Peabody Inc,was present throughout the inspection. The inspection was conducted,the images and the <br /> report prepared by me,Robin Reilley of the DRMS. The skies had light,high clouds and there was a light wind. <br /> The temperature was approximately 50 degrees F. The ground was wet. The roads were snowy and the site was <br /> only accessible to Pond 6 and from the county road. <br /> PERMITTING ACTIONS: <br /> o SL6 proposed and SL7 in process at DRMS <br /> GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br /> No offsite air quality issues or hydrologic impacts were observed at the time of inspection. Reclamation was <br /> observed from the area around Pond 6 and appeared be stable with a mix of dry vegetation standing from the 2020 <br /> growing season. Observed pond 6 appeared to be functioning adequately. <br /> SIGNS and MARKERS—Rule 4.02 <br /> o The mine site identification signs observed at the mine access point,was intact,displaying all required <br /> information: mine name,operator name,address,phone number,DRMS permit number and contact <br /> information. <br /> ROADS Rule 4.03 Construction 4.03.1(3), 4.03.2(3);Drainage 4.03.1(4), 4.03.2(4); Surfacing and <br /> Maintenance 4.03.1(5)and(6) 4.03.2(5)and(6). <br /> o Roads in and around the facilities were snow covered and the site was inaccessible. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE-Rule 4.05 <br /> General Requirements 4.05.1; Effluent Standards 4.05.2; Divergence and Conveyance of Overland <br /> Flow 4.05.3;Diversions 4.05.4; Sediment Control Measures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7 <br /> Impoundments 4.05.9; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Underground Mine Entry 4.05.10; <br /> Surface and Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13;Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> o Pond 6 was the only pond accessible at the time of inspection.
