Compliance With Mine Plan <br />NA <br />- Support Facilities Not On -site <br />NA <br />- Other <br />NA <br />- Special Categories Of Mining <br />NA <br />- Processing Waste <br />R -Topsoil <br />This was a complete inspection of the Trapper Mine; permit C 1981010, operated by Trapper Mining Inc. <br />The inspection was conducted and the report and photos prepared by me, Robin Reilley of the DRMS. <br />Graham Roberts, Trapper Mine representative was present throughout the inspection. Skies were cloudy <br />until about midday when clouds cleared somewhat. Temperatures ranged between 30 and 40 degrees <br />Fahrenheit. There was a light breeze. Coal was being hauled. Haul roads were wet and passable. Access <br />roads were muddy and some areas of the mine were not accessible due to muddy conditions on steep <br />slopes. Some snow remains throughout the site, especially on north facing slopes. Blasting and permit <br />records were checked. Reclamation activities regarding TR127 (B and G), were noted. <br />PERMITTING ACTIONS in PROGRESS: <br />o TR127 the 2020 ARR <br />UPCOMING PERMITTING ACTIONS <br />o A phase III of approximately 200 acres is contemplated for autumn. <br />OUTSTANDING MAINTENANCE <br />None <br />INSPECTION <br />GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br />Two draglines are stationed in the L pit and were not operating at the time of inspection. One dragline, <br />the Molly Brown in the L pit is undergoing maintenance. Activities in the L, N and I pits were observed <br />and appear to be progressing as permitted. <br />The Queen Anne is stationed in the N pit and was not operating at the time of inspection. Overburden <br />removal and stripping in N Pit is complete. Coal level has been reached in the N Pit. The pit floor is <br />exposed and water was present at the time of inspection. Spoil springs above N pit have been enclosed in <br />casing to control flow. A dewatering well is in place for N pit. The higwall is weeping water and is being <br />monitored for movement. <br />The high wall miner and associated cars are staged for assembly.
