EXHIBIT B <br /> SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> COUNTY: Cheyenne <br /> OPERATOR: Castle Rock Construction Co.of Colorado,LLC <br /> 1. The area designated within the pit limits is currently hilly rangeland used for livestock <br /> grazing only. <br /> 2. Soils on the grass land are ridge top typical of Cheyenne County and are classified as <br /> Valent-Bijou Loamy Sands <br /> 3. Topsoil is 6-10 inches, silty sandy M-L, CL type by Unified Soil Classification. <br /> 4. The soil beneath the topsoil is sandy which will be used as fill embankment. <br /> 5. Clumps of natural grasses including blue gama,buffalo grass and western wheatgrass <br /> exist along with sporadic Yucca plants, Sage Brush and Prickly Russian Thistle. The <br /> proposed pit area is very sparsely vegetated. <br /> 6. The existing slopes vary in slope but generally are 5:1 slope. The final slopes will be <br /> reclaimed to a condition of 4:1 or flatter. <br /> 7. The water source for the site is being bought from the town of Kit Carson <br /> 8. A well is located on the property but we are not using any water from it. <br /> 9. No water will be held onsite for more than 48hrs in the event of rainfall. <br /> 10. Ground water is not expected to be encountered but, in the case, we do find it, it will be <br /> immediately re-coved with a minimum of 2 feet of embankment dirt. <br /> a. <br /> 11. Structures <br /> a. There is a fiber line we will be crossing at the entrance of the pit in the Right of <br /> Way. <br /> b. There is an overhead electric line that is owned by KC Electric. <br />
