and graded in accordance with the approved post-mine topography. To evaluate the SL4 bond release
block for Phase I bond release, the Division compared the post mining topography (PMT) as depicted on
Map 2,the Post Mining Topography and Features to the actual on the ground conditions.During the Phase
I field inspection the Division collected data for use in validating the on the ground topography of the
bond release parcels. Map 2 elevations are reflective of the approved PMT map M29 (2020).
Using the ArcMap 10.3.1 application for mapping and analysis, the Division georeferenced the Post
Mining Topography and Features map, Map 2 ("M2"), of the bond release application and in the field
collected elevation points in each parcel to be evaluated with a Bad Elf GNSS(Global Navigation Satellite
System), surveyor.
Using Microsoft Excel® (Table V), the Division charted the Post Mine Topography from the map
elevations, and the on-the-ground measured elevations, converting the elevation field data from meters to
feet. These field collected points were then compared to elevations on the M2 map. The illustrations
below show transect locations, field collected points in relationship to the M2 map exhibiting the elevation
differences between the MCM map and field collected information.
Post Minim Topography Utah Tract:
Utah Tract East West
7514
7499
c
7387 7403
7343
0 7387 7377
v 7337
w
1 2 3 4
f Elev Measured(Ft) f Elev Map(Ft)
Graph 1: Utah Tract East West Elevation Transect
Permit Number C1981044 Page 14 of 25
