The <br />inspection was conducted aerially by Brock Bowles and the images analyzed and the report prepared by me, Robin <br />Reilley of the DRMS. No mine representative was present as this was an aerial inspection. Snow is sparse <br />throughout the site, ponds appeared frozen and snow covered. Main haul roads, were snow covered. No <br />hydrologic or air quality issues were detected in the imagery. The weather appeared clear. <br />ONGOING PERMITTING ACTIONS: <br />SL6 and SL7 <br />RN7 decision proposed <br />INSPECTION. - <br />GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLIANCE: <br />Reclamation appears stable. Vegetation was dormant at the time of inspection, drainages and contour ditches <br />appeared stable as did steep, slide prone areas. Reclamation activities, for the most part, have been completed at <br />the site. <br />ROADS Rule 4.03 <br />Construction 4.03.1(3), 4.03.2(3); Drainage 4.03.1(4), 4.03.2(4); Surfacing and Maintenance 4.03.1(5) and (6) <br />4.03.2(5) and (6). <br />o Roads appeared stable and in good condition. <br />o No rutted areas or iced areas where standing water had frozen were noted in the imagery. <br />HYDROLOGIC BALANCE- Rule 4.05 <br />General Requirements 4.05.1; Effluent Standards 4.05.2; Divergence and Conveyance of Overland Flow 4.05.3; <br />Diversions 4.05.4; Sediment Control Measures 4.05.5, 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7; Impoundments <br />4.05.9; Ground Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Underground Mine Entry 4.05.10; Surface and Ground Water <br />Monitoring 4.05.13; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br />o Ponds were frozen and snow covered. <br />o No discharge was noted in drainages or ponds in the imagery. <br />Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 6 <br />Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 2 <br />Page 2 of 6 <br />
