All review and comment periods as provided in the Colorado Surface Mining Reclamation Act and the Rules initiate from this date of filing. The applicant, ARC McClane Canyon, LLC, proposes to continue underground coal mining operations on land located approximately 19 mile(s) North of Loma, Colorado. There are no proposed revisions to the approved mining and reclamation plan, nor is there any proposed surface disturbance outside of the currently approved disturbance area. The permit area is further described as follows: Portions of Sections 3, 14, 15, 16, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 28, and 34, T7S, R102W, 6th PM, all in Garfield County The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on the following USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map(s): Howard Canyon. McClane Canyon Mining, LLC has submitted an application for renewal of a valid existing permit to conduct coal mining and reclamation for its McClane Canyon Mine, Permit No. C-1980-004.
