All review and <br />comment periods as provided in the Colorado Surface Mining Reclamation Act and the Rules initiate <br />from this date of filing. <br /> <br />The applicant, ARC McClane Canyon, LLC, proposes to continue underground coal mining <br />operations on land located approximately 19 mile(s) North of Loma, Colorado. There are no <br />proposed revisions to the approved mining and reclamation plan, nor is there any proposed surface <br />disturbance outside of the currently approved disturbance area. The permit area is further described <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Portions of Sections 3, 14, 15, 16, 21, 22, 23, 26, 27, 28, and 34, T7S, R102W, 6th PM, all in Garfield <br />County <br /> <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on the following USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle <br />map(s): Howard Canyon. <br /> <br />McClane Canyon Mining, LLC has submitted an application for renewal of a valid existing permit <br />to conduct coal mining and reclamation for its McClane Canyon Mine, Permit No. C-1980-004. <br />McClane Canyon Mine is an operating underground mine on land located approximately 19 miles <br />north of Loma, Colorado along State Highway 139. The current permit will expire on July 6, 2021. <br />McClane Canyon Mining, LLC proposes to continue underground coal mining and/or reclamation
