NOTICE OF PROPOSED DECISION The Colorado Division of Reclama- tion, Mining and Safety proposes to approve Technical Revision Applica- tion No. 122 (TR-122) for the Bowie No. 2 Mine (Permit No. C-1996- 083), submitted by Bowie Resourc- es, LLC. This revision updates the ditches within the Pond J network and revises the location of the east underdrain for Gob Pile #3. The Bowie No. 2 Mine is a/an under- ground coal mine located in Delta County, approximately 5 miles NE of Paonia, Colorado. Coal interest is federal and private, and the surface affected is federal and private land. The permit area encompasses ap- proximately 10,987.40 acres. This proposed decision is based on a finding that the proposed oper- ation will comply with all require- ments of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act, Section 34-33-101, et seq., C.R.S., and the regulations promulgated thereunder.
