MINING PLAN EXHIBIT D(CONT)
Stockpiles of material will be maintained on the site and as
the need arises, it will be hauled to our project sites . This
will be a single stage operation, but the amount of bonded
disturbance will be limited to 25 . 0 acres or less at any-one-
time. This will allow WSG to use approximately 11 . 0 acres as a
processing plant/stockpile area and approximately 15 acres for
the active mining area. As mining progresses around the
property the bank slopes will be mined or shaped to the re-
quired grades where they are in their final location. If
mining is not scheduled on adjoining mines to facilitate
removal of the side slopes they will be stabilized and left for
later mining. This will reduce the amount of work that has to
be done to reclaim the site. Reclamation will begin once we
have enough area for stockpiled material and the section to be
reclaimed will not have to be disturbed again.
Review of MAP EXHIBIT C-1 shows how we expect the site to
look when mining is approximately 43% done. Note, the floor of
the excavation is flat and the eastern working face slope into
the mined area is not graded in anticipation of them being
removed in the near future. The slope along the reclaimed area
are sloped 3h to 1V, resoiled and seeded. The Plans site &
stick Pile area covers 11 acres and the active mining area is
approximately 3 .2 acres . There is adequate overburden that can
be used to backfill the north and south slopes if needed and
there is room to cut/fill grade the working face if reclamation
is needed.
This mine adjoins two other mines along the east and west
sides as noted previously. The plans to mine thru the west
permit line have been scrapped because the material left along
that side is unusable for asphalt or concrete. We have dis-
cussed joining the floors of the eastern mine and this mine in
the future. If this is done, each party would mine to their
respective property line until the floors meet . This would
reduce the amount of sloping work needed where the mines meet
by eliminating the ridgeline between the mines . We have
developed two reclamation sloping plans for this mine so in the
future we will only need to file a Technical Revision to
implement the changes .
Mining equipment may include but is not limited to, front-
end loaders, scrapers, bulldozers, dump trucks and a water
truck. Processing equipment may include but is not limited to
W5G- Hribar Pit Amendment 12 November 2020
