These have been developed to update the <br /> approved mining plan, reclamation plan, and reclamation cost to current regulations. <br /> 7. Please provide modelling or analysis to justi fy the designs of inlet and outlet structures. <br /> The inflow/outflow structures are designed based on recommendations and guidance from Urban <br /> Drainage and Flood Control District Technical Review Guidelines for Gravel Mining& Water <br /> Storage Activities Within or Adjacent to 100-Year Floodplains. The structures are intended to <br /> minimize the hydraulic head difference between the river and the pit lake following mining. This <br /> will protect the permanent lake from being captured by the river. <br /> These structures will not be installed if mining does not encroach to within 250' of the river.
