Public Notice <br /> ARC McClane Canyon, LLC, 2352 N 7th Street, Unit B, Grand Junction, CO, 81501, has <br /> filed with the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety a complete application for the <br /> renewal of a valid existing permit to conduct mining in Colorado for its McClane Canyon <br /> Mine, Mining and Reclamation Permit No. C-1980-004. <br /> The McClane Canyon Mine is located approximately 19 miles north of Loma, CO along <br /> State Highway 139. East Salt Creek is immediately west of the permit boundary. The <br /> permit area is encompassed within the following lands: <br /> Township 7 South, Range 102 West, 6th P.M. <br /> Section 3: Portions of lot 14 <br /> Section 14: SW/4NW/4 <br /> Section 15: All <br /> Section 16: E/2 <br /> Section 21: E/2, E/2W/2, SW4NW/4, NW/4SW/4 <br /> Section 22: All <br /> Section 23: W/2NW/4, Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 <br /> Section 26: NW/4NW/4 <br /> Section 27: All <br /> Section 28: NW/4NE/4, NE/4NW/4 <br /> Section 34: N/2 <br /> Containing 3562 acres, more or less. <br /> The location of these sections is contained within the U.S. Geological Survey 7.5 minute <br /> Howard Canyon and Garvey Canyon Quadrangle maps. <br /> A copy of the permit renewal application is available for public inspection at the Mesa <br /> County Clerk and Recorder's office, 200 S Spruce St., Grand Junction, CO. The <br /> approved permit application document, as well as the permit renewal application, are <br /> available at the Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety, Room 215, 1313 Sherman <br /> St., Denver, CO 80203, (303) 866-3567. Written comments, objections or a request for <br /> an informal conference on the proposed permit renewal may be submitted to the <br /> Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety and must be received by the Division within <br /> 30 days after final publication of this notice. <br />
