Mountain shrubs such as currant and mountain mahogany are abundant on the south
facing slopes. Topsoil depth varies by location.
Topsoil
The soils are typically channery loam over sandstone at a depth of 16 to over 60 inches. By namethey
are identified as Shawa Loam, Trag Loam, Fuera Clay Loam, Louviers-Sarcillo-Trag Complex,
Fuera-Dargol-Varner Complex, Saruche-Rombo Complex, and Louviers-Rombo- Travessilla
Complex. They are good growth mediums for vegetation if sufficient water is present.
7
2020 Exploration Program 2/11/2021
