EXHIBIT H —WILDLIFE INFORMATION
(1) The OperatorlApplicantshall include in this Exhib&, a description ofthego and
non game resources on and in the vicinity of the application aria,including;
a) A description of the significant wildlife resources on the affected land;
There are no significant wildlife resources on the site as this site has been disturbed
by mining for over 18 months. Prior to that the site was regularly disturbed as it was
cultivated agricultural land (and it is surrounded by cultivated agricultural land).
The NRCS characterizes this site as foamy Plains and'Gravel Breaks"with low plant
density (refer to Figure 1 on the next page for illustrative graphic). We have
incorporated several of the grasses historically on the site(Little Bulestem, Sideoats
Grama)into our seed mix to help improve the site's wildlife value post-reclamation.
b) Seasonal use of the area;
Because the site does not contain any significant wildlife resources, seasonal use of
the area is limited.
c) Threatened or endangered species;
The site does not contain suitable habitat for any threatened or endangered species.
d) General effect during and after the proposed operation on the exWting wildlife of
the area;
The agricultural and mining activities on the site have limited its value to wildlife. The
site is small enough that migrating wildlife may travel around the site. Once the site is
revegetated, it will create improved cover, foraging, and nesting areas for wildlife.
--- -- --
-opus"
yi.
l <J 9
:n epd14.3u av + .
Viw AllECO60cal 51tas Info + +:
R0679YO02CO—LOOM Wales x
This EcoloWai Site
Blue Grama&.ffalograss Sod
Blue Gramait3uffaloQrass Sad with Caul Season
Remnants
Go-bade r, 9
Go-back;eroded' T '
Low Want Density.Excessrre Litter
Red Thre—wn,Annuals.Bare Gnx,nd -
Seeded Ranoeland }
`Nestem Arheatorass,Out xama,:xeer `
HC ass,Fourwino Saltbush Plant Coknmuraty Y  .. ;. ,x yn
R0679YO63CO—Gravel Breaks
This Ecobpical site Mr
Bare'around,Crypto0ams,Arrwals Want Comm nit, - d
Blue Grama Sod,Threadleat Sedoe?tart Conwlwtity
Blue Grams with Decreased Mid and Tad Grass Plant
Comew,nity
l ttleBCestem,5de0ats Grama Plant Cown pity
Figure 1
Source: USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service: ram.//websoilsurvev SC.eQov usda ciov/Ai)p/webSoilSurvey aspx
11
