Dept. of Public Health & Environment <br />Water Quality Control Division <br />4300 Cherry Creek Drive South <br />Denver, CO 80246-1530 <br /> <br />FROM: Patrick Lennberg <br /> <br />RE: Pueblo County Aggregate Project - File No. M-2016-009 , Fremont Paving & Redi-Mix, Inc. <br /> Amendment Application (AM -1) <br /> <br />Please be advised that on February 3, 2021, Fremont Paving & Redi-Mix, Inc., whose address and telephone <br />number are 839 MacKenzie Avenue P.O. Box 841, Canon City, CO 81212; (719) 275-3264, filed an <br />application for a/an Amendment (AM - 1) to M2016009, Pueblo County Aggregate Project, which is located <br />approximately 2.7 miles of Avondale, CO, Section 25, Township 21S, Range 63 W, 06th Principle <br />Meridian, in Pueblo County. <br /> <br />Realignment of the haul road to enter the State Pit. <br /> <br />The application decision is scheduled for May 4, 2021. Written comments or objections to the application <br />may be submitted to and additional information obtained from Patrick Lennberg at the Division of <br />Reclamation, Mining and Safety, 1313 Sherman St. Room 215 Denver, CO 80203, by telephone at (303) <br />866-3567 x 8114. <br /> <br />Fremont Paving & Redi-Mix, Inc. is required to publish a public notice in a newspaper of general circulation <br />in the locality of the mining operation once per week for four consecutive weeks. If you wish to make <br />comments on or objections to the mine plan and/or t he reclamation plan, they must be submitted within <br />twenty (20) days of the date of the last newspaper public notice to be considered in the application review <br />process by the Division. You should contact the applicant for the newspaper publication date. If we do not <br />receive your comments or any objection by the end of the public comment period, the Division will assume <br />you have no objection or comment to the proposed activity. <br /> <br />M-GR-03A-P
