We have braces we can add to the sides of the storage pile if needed, but to date it has settled
well. Topsoil storage pile shown below:
.. Y n. ,yy
t 1Awl
r, r
y v 4T•\ P RM A'..
We have 8-10 certified weed-free that are not in use that can be "dropped" in as needed during
times of large snow runoff, or heavy rains. We have been on-site thorough various stages of
planning and operations over the last 5 years. We have seen and adjusted things to prevent
UUD. Most of the moisture around the ridge goes down the back(North) into that drainage and
into the wash that is on the north end of the parking area. We have seen that dry wash run
slightly during one of the heaviest rains.
We personally think that the changes we will be allowed to make to the lower game trails will
directly affect erosion that has been occurring on that side of the ridge, and feel we can make a
bigger impact on preventing erosion within our project areas than occur outside the claim
boundaries.
4. Question 3- Per Rule 6.3.4(1)(b)- Provide a justification to support slopes steeper than a 3H: 1V.
a. Is the steeper slope stable, does it match surrounding topography, can sediment be retained
until vegetation is established, etc.?
The steepest slope we address is in the Connector Project Area. I have included photos below
from various angles. We believe that if the loose material were moved to the west by 10-20
feet, especially near the top of that project area;that it will change the slope profile slightly.
