In 2018, old stockpiles were spread and graded to an 3H:1V slope or less and blended with the
surrounding topography. Herbicide was applied to control weed growth in both areas, and both areas (totaling 9
acres)were subsequently reseeded, fertilized, and mulched. Herbicide application in the two work areas
subsequently occurred in the late summer of 2019 and again in 2020.
Remaining Reclamation Requirements and Estimated Cost: The remaining areas of the old quarry permit,
including highwalls, overburden and stockpiles, off-site drainage, weed control, and revegetation should be
addressed by reclamation activities with the current operator.
Project Manager Senior Project Manager
12/8/2020 12/9/2020
Date Date
