COLORADO LEGACY LAND $CHWARTZWALDER MINE <br /> EXHIBIT A. LEGAL DESCRIPTION <br /> The current affected area (72.24 acres) for the Schwartzwalder Mine is located in Jefferson County, Colorado, <br /> in Section 25 of Township 2 South,Range 71 West,6th Principal Meridian,Southeast Quarter Section,Northwest <br /> Quarter/Quarter Section. The Schwartzwalder mine is approximately six miles northwest of Golden Colorado <br /> at approximately 6,600 feet above mean sea level (Latitude: 39.84486 degrees North,Longitude: -105.28024 <br /> degrees West).This Amendment proposes expanding the affected or potentially affected areas by 3.98 acres to <br /> accommodate anticipated reclamation activities. Approval of this Amendment would result in a total area <br /> covered under mine reclamation permit M-1977-300 of 76.22 acres. Exhibit C shows the current affected area <br /> (also called the permitted boundary) with respect to the proposed affected areas.
