6.4.9 Exhibit I <br /> Soils Information <br /> Soil series within the proposed permit boundary include Cascajo, Manvel and <br /> Bacid soil series. All three soil series are well drained loam soils. The top four (4) to <br /> 10 inches are silty or sandy loam. This loam may extend to depths of five (5) feet. <br /> Cascajo is the gravelly soil composing the mesas, the target reserve. The following <br /> soil series descriptions were obtained from the National Resource Conservation <br /> Service website. <br /> Annual range production in a normal climatic year ranges from 720 pounds <br /> per acre per year on Cascajo soil to 800 pounds per acre per year on Bacid soil.
