<br /> <br />Notice of Proposed Decision <br /> <br /> <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety has issued a proposed decision to approve <br />Bond Release Application No. 21 (SL-21) for the Trapper Mine, Permit No. C-1981-010. This <br />permitting action constitutes a phase I bond release request on 298.3 acres of reclamation, <br />reclaimed between 2017 and 2019. The surface operation is operated by Trapper Mining, Inc. under <br />the provisions of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act of 1979. The bond release <br />application was submitted by Trapper Mining, Inc. on August 3, 2020. This Phase I bond release <br />application comprises 298.3 acres reclaimed between 2017 and 2019 in F, L and Z pits. The affected <br />area is located in Moffat County, approximately 6 miles Southwest of Craig, Colorado. <br /> <br />Copies of the proposed decision are available for review at <br />https://dnrweblink.state.co.us/drms/search.aspx by searching C1981010 in the “Permit No” field. <br />A user guide is available to help first time users of the imaged document system and can be viewed <br />at https://drive.google.com/file/d/1l8OUdf_Mpjo3kxIHkP5hMH-w7MeBtxX7/view.. <br /> <br />Any person who has an interest which is or may be adversely affected may request an adjudicatory <br />hearing regarding this proposed decision. Requests for a hearing must be made in writing within <br />thirty (30) days of the first publication of this notice, and shall state with reasonable specificity the <br />reasons for the request and objections to the proposed decision. <br /> <br />
