Description of Amendment or Conversion: <br /> If you are amending or converting an existing operation,provide a brief narrative describing the proposed change(s). <br /> This amendment expands the mine by 20.19 acres to t he total permit area will cover 46.91 acres more or less. It increases the reserves <br /> and extends the life of the mine by 10 years or more. The mine limits will be expanded on the north and east sides so it match the <br /> boundary in the Special Use Permit issued by Huerfano County in 2020. The eastern part of the new area is within an existing Permit <br /> operated by Huerfano County that will be released once this permit is approved. The method of operation will remain unchanged, <br /> stockpiles will be built and material hauled as needed. <br />
