Section 2.05.6(6)(c)of the permit discusses the subsidence monitoring program for the Foidel <br /> Creek Mine. Page 2.05-191.8 indicates that subsidence reports will be submitted to CDRMS <br /> semi-annually, 60 days after the end of the period. The last subsidence monitoring report <br /> submitted to the Division was received in October,2018. Was monitoring conducted for the <br /> structures and renewable resources lands in accordance with the plan discussed on in section <br /> 2.05.6(6)(c)of the permit? If so,please submit a report in accordance with the format approved <br /> in Exhibit 34 with the results of the monitoring. <br /> SECTION V—PERMIT VARIANCES AND SPECIFIC APPROVALS <br /> The Foidel Creek Mine permit does not include a variance under Rules 2.06.2(experimental practices), <br /> 2.06.3 (mountaintop removal), and 2.06.5 (approximate original contour(AOC)for steep slope mining). <br /> The permit does include a variance from contemporaneous reclamation for combined surface and <br /> underground mining operations(2.06.7)in those remnants of pits from a former operation(CYCC Permit <br /> C-1981-071)that have been incorporated into Permit C-1982-056 for portal access to underground <br /> workings,and other surface facilities of the current underground operations. <br /> SECTION VI—BONDING SUMMARY <br /> Based on the updated costs of associated revisions,the direct costs for all reclamation tasks is <br /> $9,082,713.00.Indirect costs consist of the Overhead and Profit costs and the Legal,Engineering,and <br /> Project Management costs. Overhead and Profit costs consist of Liability Insurance (%of direct cost), <br /> Performance Bond(%of direct cost),Job Superintendent(hourly),and Profit(%of direct cost)which <br /> make up the Contract Amount(direct cost+Overhead and Profit). The Legal,Engineering, and Project <br /> Management Costs consist of Engineering Work(% of contract amount), and Reclamation Management <br /> (% of contract amount)for a Total Indirect Cost. The total reclamation cost including the indirect <br /> costs is$11,429,904.00. The Division currently holds$10,267,597.55. Please submit additional bond <br /> in the amount of$1,162,306.45 to cover the total reclamation costs associated with the site. <br /> The Division requests that TC review the reclamation cost estimate attached to this midterm review <br /> document.
