The
bond release application was found complete by this Division on October 28, 2020. The
proposed bond release was submitted in conjuntion with a Permit Revision proposing to change
the post mining land use to recreational use. The bond release proposes to leave the area within
proposed release area as is and used as a trail sytem in the town of Hayden. The surface
ownership is state and private, and the coal mined was federal, state and private.

We will contact you to advise you of the Division's required bond release inspection of the site as
soon as it has been scheduled. A proposed decision on the application will be issued within sixty
(60) days of our inspection.

If you have questions or need additional information, please contact me.

Sincerely,

Tabetha N.
