The Division's current calculated reclamation liability is $1,107,241. HGT has posted two <br />Financial Warranty Corporate Sureties issued by Travelers Property Casualty Group in the total <br />amount of $1,107,240.91 effective April 18, 2020 and April 27, 2020. <br />MAP DESCRIPTION <br />Map 1 - Bond Release Area Delineation Map. This map shows all requested area for Phase I, <br />II & III release. <br />Map 2 — General Location Map. This map shows the general location of the Hayden Gulch <br />Loadout property boundaries relative to other land marks. <br />BOND RELEASE DOCUMENTATION <br />This application represents a formal request for Bond Release on 225 acres of lands now utilized <br />for Recreational Use at Hayden Gulch Loadout. (see Map 1). These lands comply with <br />applicable criteria set forth for the recreational post mine land use. <br />POSTMINING LAND USE <br />The post mine land uses for the HGL is predominantly recreational, with livestock grazing <br />and wildlife habitat in the remaining areas not included in this request for bond release. In <br />January of 2020, the Town of Hayden entered a lease with Hayden Gulch Terminal, LLC and <br />Sage Creek Land & reserve, LLC for 225 acres of which 170.3 acres is permitted area <br />associated with this application for bond release, to be utilized for recreational use. HGT, in <br />collaboration with the town of Hayden, has constructed a parking area to the north of the <br />terminal, removed all rails and ballast and performed surface grading and fence repair to assist <br />in developing this resource. The area is currently utilized by the Town of Hayden for both <br />winter and summer recreation activities such as running, walking, snow shoeing and cross- <br />country skiing. The Town of Hayden has also integrated this recreational area into its <br />planning and budgeting process to accommodation current recreational activities while <br />planning for further development. <br />
