Pursuit to rule 3.03.2 of CDRMS regulations Moffat County Mining, LLC is <br /> required to notify all adjoining property owners, surface owners,appropriate local government bodies, <br /> municipalities, regional planning commissions, boards of county commissioners, county planning <br /> agencies, sewage and water treatment authorities, and water conservancy and water conservation <br /> districts in the locality in which the surface coal mining operations took place. <br /> Moffat County Mining, LLC, 29515 Routt County Road 27, Oak Creek, Colorado 80467, has <br /> requested release of Partial Phase I Liability on 176.7 acres of its reclaimed lands at the Williams Fork <br /> Mine (CDRMS Permit No. C 1981-044, approved October 19, 1983). <br /> The Williams Fork Mine is located approximately 6.0 mile southwest of Craig, Colorado, off of <br /> Colorado State Highway 13. The specific area to which this bond release request applies within the <br /> Permit Area is located as follows: <br /> T6NR91 W: <br /> Section 31 —Portions of. NW 1/4, NE 1/4, SE 1/4, SW 1/4 <br /> Section 32—Portions of. NWNW, SWNW, NWSW, and SWSW <br /> T5NR91W: <br /> Section 6 —Portions of. NWNW, SWNW, and NENE <br /> The Williams Fork Mine mining permit area consist of 6,800 acres. The USGS 7.5 Minute <br /> Quadrangle Maps for Round Bottom and Castor Gulch contain the described affected area. <br /> Pursuant to Rule 3.03.11 a permittee may request Phase I Bond Release upon completion of all <br /> surface mining operations in accordance with the approved reclamation plan, and the final <br /> inspection and procedures of Rule 3.03.2 have been satisfied, Up to sixty percent of the applicable <br /> bond amount shall be released when the permittee successfully completes backfilling, regrading, and <br /> drainage control in accordance with the approved reclamation plan. The approved reclamation plan <br /> can be viewed in its entirety in the Williams Fork Mine Permit Application Package located at the <br /> Foidel Creek Mine Office, 29515 RCR 27, Oak Creek, Colorado 80467. Reclamation of the <br /> disturbed mining areas and demolition of non-permanent structures occurred throughout the <br /> Seneca Property, LLC. 29515 Routt County Road #27 .
