A.
d) The existing drainage will remain. It presently bisects the site running from northeast to
southwest. The existing wetlands areas will remain. They are located along the south
side of the site and along the existing drainage. A Stormwater Management Plan was
recently approved by the City that called for a stormwater quality pond and an asphalt
road that will remain post reclamation. The stormwater quality pond was built per the
City of Grand Junction's SWMM requirements and engineered to meet their standards
for WQCV. These items will remain post-reclamation.
e) The City of Grand Junction- Public Works has received approval to store various
construction materials and to stage clean-up operations at this location. There will be
an east and west detention pond, a pond outlet structure for each, berms funneling
stormwater into the ponds, and the access road with 6" of asphalt road base. These
items will remain post-reclamation. SWMM water quality requirements will be achieved
through the installation of the berms, the resultant ponds which they create, and the
proposed outlet works for the ponds. Both ponds (West Pond & East Pond) discharge
into the Unnamed Creek. In turn the Unnamed Creek discharges to the Gunnison
River approximately 1,200 feet downstream of the property boundary.
2. This application is not for a Limited Impact application and does not need to provide
an estimate of actual costs to reclaim the site since the Operator of this site is the City
of Grand Junction. There is no bond required for this site pursuant to C.R.S. 34-32.5-
110(6) since the operator is the City of Grand Junction.
