COLORADO
a Division of Reclamation,
Mining and Safety
Department of Natural Resources
INTEROFFICE MEMORANDUM
TO: Rob Zuber
FROM: Clayton Wein
DATE: 9/23/2020
SUBJECT: Request for Assistance
Deserado MR-178 SEDCAD Review
Hi Rob,
I would like to request your assistance in reviewing the proposed changes to the SEDCAD
design for Red Wash at the Deserado Mine. The SEDCAD was updated during the responses to
the PAR letter to include the impact of an additional topsoil and subsoil pile in the Reed Wash
drainage. The proposed topsoil and subsoil piles will be associated with the RP-A refuse
disposal area, but will not utilize the sediment pond at the RP-A refuse area.. I will forward you
the email containing the proposed revised pages. Please feel free to contact me if you have any
questions.
Thank you,
Clayton Wein
Na*
flF'010
I n O
1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, CO 80203 P 303.866.3567 F 303.832.8106 https://colorado.i.gov/drms
Jared S.
