Exhibit A- Additions to Exploration Drilling Plan- Lorencito Tract
8-28-2020
New Elk Coal Co.,LLC. is preparing a plan to explore for the Primero seam within the Lorencito
Tract and has provided MGP/Hills a plan-view map of proposed drill hole locations along with
target depths. (Digital files of the base map utilized are available in the upload of information on
the site to Allegiance Coal Limited at Maps,Drawings/x-ref s_MEI). One purpose of this layout
is for site inspection of proposed locations for access and suitability which has occured. This
also conveys information for review by the surface and mineral owners for input and comment
prior to starting the work. When finalized it would be included with the March 28, 2020 Drilling
Agreement as Exhibit A, Drilling Program. In this regard, it will be helpful to also know more
information and details of the plan that addresses the following items:
1. Map showing any proposed new road construction; Access to drill sites using the
most direct route over existing roads is preferred; How will road use and
maintenance be coordinated with Evergreen?
New road construction for all proposed drill sites is limited to 450 foot of approximately
14 foot wide road. Total disturbance estimates are shown in Table 1 below. New road
construction is limited and is not visible on the map, because it is so minor. Map 2 shows
the existing roads used for access. NECC will grade used existing roads used for access,
once after the project is done, in agreement with Evergreen.
Table 1: Drill Hole Estimated Disturbance Area
Hole no.
