7. Surveys and Maps. Lessee shall have a survey of the mine <br /> workings made by a competent mining engineer, and shall keep an accurate and complete <br /> map of the Leased Premises and mine workings on an appropriate scale, which shall <br /> show projections and mine development, and which shall be in conformity in all respects <br /> I <br /> with the applicable requirements of the mining laws of the State of West Virginia, of the <br /> United States or of any other applicable entity. Such map shall at all reasonable times be <br /> accessible to Lessor, its agents or representatives, for inspection; and, if requested, a true, <br /> complete and correct copy of the same shall be furnished to Lessor at Lessee's sole <br /> expense. <br /> 8. inspection. Lessor, its agents, engineers or other persons in its <br /> behalf, shall have the right to enter at all reasonable times the mines and workings of <br /> Lessee in and on the Leased Premises in order to inspect and examine the same or any <br /> part thereof for any lawful purpose. Lessor shall give Lessee due notice of its intent to <br /> make inspections, and opportunity to have Lessee's agent or engineer accompany the <br /> representative of Lessor. Lessor alone shall be responsible for any injury to any agents, <br /> engineers, or other persons in its behalf who may enter the mines or works of Lessee, <br /> unless such injury is caused by the gross negligence or intentional misconduct of Lessee. <br /> 9. Taxes. Lessee shall, during the tenn of this Lease, pay all taxes, <br /> levies and assessments imposed by the United States of America, the State of West <br /> Virginia or any political subdivision thereof upon the Leased Premises and upon all <br /> personal property and structures placed or permitted upon the Leased Premises by <br /> f <br /> Lessee, commencing with those taxes accruing from and after the date of this Lease. <br /> (L0406980_10) <br /> 6 <br />
