This application seeks to transfer the existing mining permit to the City of
Brighton in order to achieve final reclamation of the project and change the uses from
mining to parks and water storage.
As we discussed on August 11, 2020, all mining activities have been completed at the
project, and the only remaining reclamation obligations are revegetation and slope
stabilization within one of the water storage cells. Nevertheless, the City of Brighton
agreed to take assignment of the existing Structure Agreements. The final attachment to the
permit packet contains the executed assignment of the Structure Agreements, and the
Stability Study prepared for RMCC.
The City of Brighton looks forward to working with you and DRMS to converting this
project to a highly beneficial municipal use. Thank you for your assistance.
Sincerely,
Adam DeVoe
