COLORADO <br /> Division of Reclamation, <br /> Mining and safety <br /> Department of Natural Resources <br /> 1313 Sherman St. Room 215 <br /> Denver, CO 80203 <br /> September 2,2020 <br /> Steven Hunter <br /> PO Box 3938 <br /> Breckenridge,CO 80424 <br /> RE: Bullion King(Permit M-2018-052) <br /> REASON TO BELIEVE A VIOLATION EXISTS AND NOTICE OF BOARD HEARING <br /> Mr.Hunter: <br /> C.R.S. 34-32-116 (3) and (4) and Permit M-2018-052 require you to submit to the Division of Reclamation, <br /> Mining and Safety(the"Division")an annual fee, map and report,due on or before August 19 of each year. The <br /> annual fee required for your permit is $172.00. As of the date of this letter the Division has not received your <br /> submittal. <br /> Therefore, the Division has reason to believe this is a violation of C.R.S. 34-32-1 16(3) and (4) of seq. and the <br /> provisions of your Permit M-2018-052 and has scheduled this matter to appear before the Mined Land <br /> Reclamation Board(MLRB),pursuant to C.R.S.34-32-124. <br /> A Formal Public Hearing will be held during the October 21-22, 2020 MLRB meeting for consideration of the <br /> possible violation,revocation of the permit,and a finding that the financial warranty is subject to forfeiture. Due <br /> to the impacts of the COVID-19 virus on the availability State facilities and Division resources,notice is hereby <br /> given the October 21-22,2020 MLRB hearing will be by a virtual ZOOM hearing. <br /> All exhibits and materials you wish for the MLRB to consider must be submitted by October 9,2020 via email to <br /> the MLRB administrator, Camie Mojar, via phone at (303) 866-3567 ext. 8136 or via email at: <br /> Camille.Moiar,i state.co.us,no later than 5:00pm on October 9,2020 in order to receive an authorization code to <br /> attend or to request a continuance of the matter.Please note that only Parties and those who will be testifying may <br /> attend by ZOOM. All other interested person may attend the hearing via the MLRB YouTube Channel: <br /> httks:_wwwaoutube.com/channel:'UCDrrAQ8blPFl0wce-�H 1 fWA. <br /> This hearing format is in support of Governor Jared Polis's direction and the Colorado Department of Public <br /> Health and Environment recommendations to limit meetings as part of the social distancing objectives set out by <br /> the State of Colorado to help control the spread of COV1D-19. <br /> This is an important Ieeal proceeding and you must appear in person for this hearing. If you fail to appear <br /> an order and money judgment may be entered against you.
