The letters are attached for review. Please address <br /> the comments noted in the letters and revise the application accordingly." <br /> Response 1: The letter received from History Colorado did not have any comments that needed <br /> to be addressed. The letter indicated that there were no known cultural resources in the vicinity <br /> of the proposed project. If human remains are found during the mining process, Weld County <br /> acknowledges that the requirements of State Law C.R.S. 24-80(Part 13) will apply. Furthermore, <br /> Weld County acknowledges that the requirements will be followed. <br /> The letter from the Colorado Division of Water Resources states that stormwater intercepted by <br /> the mine must be released within 72 hours. In the Exhibit G submitted with the amendment <br /> application, Weld County acknowledges any stormwater captured by the mine will be released <br /> within 72 hours. <br /> Comment 2: `As required by Rule 1.6.2.1(d) and 1.6.5(2), please submit proof of publication in a <br /> newspaper of general circulation in the locality of the proposed mining operation." <br /> Response 2: As noted in the Adequacy Review Letter dated August 14, 2020, the requested <br /> information was provided on July 22, 2020 and no additional response is required. <br /> Comment 3: "As required by Rule 1.6.2(e), notice to all owners of record of surface and mineral <br /> rights of the affected land and the owners of record of all land surface within 200 feet of the <br /> boundary of the affected land including all easement holders located on the affected land and <br /> within 200 feet of the boundary of the affected land.
