MDV 20'01 05r31R1 IMIGNIR P. <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE: <br /> ORDINANCENO. 2001_48 t- <br /> A BILL <br /> FOR AN ORDINANCE DISCONNECTING CERTAIN TBRRrrORY <br /> LOCATED IN SECTIONS 5 AND 6,TOWNSW 3 SOUTH, <br /> RANGE 64 WEST OF THE SIXTH PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN,AND <br /> IN SECTIONS 2%30.31,AND 32,TOWNSHIP 2 SOUTH, <br /> RANGE 64 WEST OF THE SIXTH PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, <br /> COUNTY OF ADAMS,STATE OF COLORADO. <br /> FROM THE CrrY OF AURORA,COLORADO <br /> 1409.013 ACRES <br /> jWHEREAS,certain tetritory located in Sections 5 and 6,Township 3 South,Range 64 <br /> i West of the Sixth Principal Meridian,and Sections 29,30,31,and 32,Township 2 South,Range <br /> 64 West of the Sixth Principal Meridian,County of Adams,State of Colorado,were annexed to <br /> the City by Ordimmcc No.86-208;and - <br /> WHEREAS,the owner of said territory has applied to the City Council for disconnection; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS,pursuant to City Code§146.2168,the City Council finds and determines <br /> that the best interests of the City will not be prejudiced by the disconnection of such land. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE MT <br /> OF AURORA,COLOR ADO: <br /> Section I.That the territory located in the City of Aumm,County of Adams,State of <br /> Colorado described in Exhibit A.attached hereto and incorporated herein,is hereby disconnected <br /> from the City of Aurora,Colorado. <br /> Section 2.That the disconnection of such territory from the City of Aurora,Colorado <br /> shall be complete and effective on the effective date of this ordinance. <br /> Smhon 3.That within 30 days after the effective date of this ordinance,the City Clark is <br /> authorized and directed to file two certified copies of the disconnection ordinance and a map of <br /> the area disco inected,containing a legal description of such area,with the County Clark and <br /> Recorder of Adams County. <br /> SO On 4.Tbet pursuant to Section 5-5 of the Charter of the City of Aurora Coloado, <br /> the second publication of this ordinance shall be by reference,utilizing the ordinance title. <br />
