The proposed renewal will allow for contin- ued mining and/or reclamation operations at the site. The Peabody Sage Creek Mine is a/an under- ground operation located in Routt County, approxi- mately 9 miles Southeast of Hayden. Coal interest is federal, state and private, and the surface 10 be affected is federal, state and private land. The per- mit area encompasses approximately 10,104.00 acres. This proposed decision is based on a finding that the proposed operation will comply with all require- ments of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Recla- mation Act, Sermon 34 33 101 at seq., C.R.S., and the regulations promulgated thereunder. A copy of the "Proposed Decision and Findings of Compliance", inclutling any stipulations, is on file for public inspection at the Colorado Division of Recla- mation, Mining and Safety, Room 215 Centennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Colorado 80203, and at the Routt County Clerk and Record - r, P.O. Box 773598, Steamboat Springs, CO 80477. Persons with an interest that may be ad- versely affected by the proposed decision may re- quest a formal hearing before the Mined Land Rec- lamation Board on the proposed decision. Such re- quest must be made within thirty (30) days of the in- itial publication of this notice, must be in writing, and must state with reasonable specificity the ma- sons for the request and the objections to the pro- posed decision.
