2020 Reclaimed Areas Phase H Total Vegetation Cover Success Criterion <br />Xbar <br />S <br />Number of samples <br />Number of samples for sample adequacy <br />2020 Extended 2020 Reclaimed Areas <br />Reference Area <br />11.06%(') 55.07% <br />5.63% 1 6.04% <br />15 1 15 <br />1 1 2 <br />(1) Vegetation success criterion is the total herbaceous cover of the extended reference <br />area (sum of graminoid and forb cover) <br />Based on the results of the 2020 quantitative sampling, the reclamation areas exceeded the <br />revegetation total live vegetation cover success criterion of 11.06 percent, thereby meeting <br />the revegetation success criterion and supporting the post -mining land use. <br />Phase II Bond Release Reclaimed and Revegetated Areas Reclamation Success: <br />Species Composition (2020) <br />The Elk Creek Mine permit document specifies that to meet the requirements of the <br />revegetation success criterion for species composition, species composition on any eligible <br />reclaimed area will be successful when there are three or more perennial or biennial plant <br />species of which two are graminoids and one is a perennial or biennial forb or shrub.
