The <br />surface operation is operated by Colowyo Coal <br />Company L.P. under the provisions of the <br />Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamatlon Act of <br />1979. The bond release application was submitted <br />by Colowyo Coal Company L.P. on March 20, <br />2020. Colowyo Mine is applying for Phase I Bond <br />Release on approximately 44.6 acres of backfilled <br />and regarded surface. The affected area is located <br />in Moffat, Rio Blanco County, approximately 28 <br />miles South of Craig, Colorado. <br />Copies of the proposed decision are available for re- <br />view at the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Min- <br />ing and Safety office, 1313 Sherman Street, Room <br />215, Denver, Colorado 80203, and on the Divisio- <br />n's website at http://mining.state.co.us/Reports/Mini <br />ngData/Pages/Imaged DocumentData.aspx. A use- <br />r's guide for our document imaging system is also <br />available in pdf format at the same web address. <br />Any person who has an interest which is or may be <br />adversely affected may request an adjudicatory <br />hearing regarding this proposed decision.
