Roads, including cut and fill slopes, would be inspected to ensure all stownwater runoff <br /> reports to existing sediment control structures (roads will be maintained as such during <br /> normal mining operations and only minor grading would be required to prepare the roads <br /> for a temporary shutdown). <br /> 2.17.5 Plans for Monitoring Site Conditions during Periods of Non- <br /> Operation <br /> Site conditions would be inspected every 14 days or following periods of rainfall exceeding <br /> 1.5 inches in a 24-hour period. <br /> 2.17.6 Schedule of Anticipated Periods of Temporary Closure <br /> No temporary closures are planned or anticipated. If a temporary closure is necessary, American <br /> Gypsum would notify state and federal agencies in writing within 90 days after work is suspended <br /> for more than 120 days. The notification would state the nature and reason for suspension of <br /> work, the anticipated duration of the suspension, and any event that would be reasonably <br /> expected to result in either the resumption of activities or the abandonment of the operation. <br /> 28 <br />
