CC&V is in FULL COMPLIANCE with Standard of Practice 9.1 requiring an operation to provide opportunity
for stakeholders to communicate issues of concern regarding the management of cyanide.
The operation undertakes a large amount of community consultation and activities that provide its external
stakeholders opportunities to communicate issues of concern regarding the management of cyanide. These
avenues include the Visitor Centre in Cripple Creek, an open door policy, quarterly community breakfasts,
monthly city meetings, membership in the Chamber of Commerce a Facebook page, and open houses.
Internal stakeholders have many avenues open to communicate concerns, including regular health and
safety meetings.
Standard of Practice 9.2: Initiate dialogue describing cyanide management procedures and
responsively address identified concerns.
