Actil
LOVELAND
READY-MIX August 4, 2020
CONCRETE
Mr. Peter Hays
Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety
PO BOX 299 Department of Natural Resources
LOVELAND, CO 80539 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215
Denver, CO 80203
OFFICE 970.667.2680
FAX 970.667.0092 RE: Green/Croissant Sand and Gravel Mine
Permit No. M2001-022
Technical Revision
Dear Mr. Hays,
We are submitting this request for a Technical Revision to Permit No. M2001-022.
This Technical Revision would discontinue the annual monitoring and reporting of
survey points along the buried gas lines within the mining permit boundary.
Excavation of the final mining cell, Cell 4, inside the permit boundary was completed
in November of 2017. Cell 4 was filled with water in February 2018, all other mining
cells have been filled with water for at least 6 years prior. Included with this letter is
a copy of the Annual Report Maps for 2012 and 2018 that show progression of
mining and reclamation adjacent to the pipelines..
Because the site has had no excavation, no construction, and no changes to the
hydrology that would impact the gas lines for over 2 years, we see no reason or
justification for additional monitoring.
If you have any questions or require additional information regarding this request,
please advise.
<Sincerely,
Stephanie Fancher-English
Loveland Ready Mix Concrete, Inc.
