SGM <br /> researched the presence of endangered plants and animals on the <br /> property as part of our efforts to comply with the US Fish and Wildlife <br /> requirements and regulations. The series of Figures in our original <br /> application, specifically Exhibits C and H, identify the results of their <br /> research. <br /> b. Scott Contracting will allow vegetation to properly established itself on <br /> newly constructed berms and ditches or install sediment control BMPs <br /> prior to actively dewatering at the property. <br /> c. The primary use of the reclaimed property will be a recreational pond, <br /> which will be constructed as large as the property allows given the <br /> required slope and other restrictions, as depicted in Exhibit B. The exact <br /> dimensions of the recreational pond will be determined once mining <br /> operations are completed; however, the goal is to make the pond as large <br /> as possible. Should conditions later dictate, Scott Contracting will also <br /> include pastureland on the property, if necessary. Additionally, <br /> approximately 2 acres of surface land will be left to accommodate any <br /> future facilitate oil, gas and other mineral development for those rights <br /> owners. <br /> 6. Exhibit J - Vegetation Information; Rule 6.4.10 <br /> a. The primary use of the reclaimed property will be a recreational pond, <br /> which will be constructed as large as the property allows given the <br /> required slope and other restrictions, as depicted in Figure 10 of Exhibit <br /> F. Additionally, in response to the request of DRMS in its Secondary <br /> Adequacy Review, approximately 2 acres of surface land will be left to <br /> accommodate any future facilitate oil, gas and other mineral <br /> development for those rights owners. Finally, should conditions later <br /> dictate, Scott Contracting will also include pastureland on the property. <br /> To the extent any pastureland is constructed post-mining, corresponding <br /> irrigation will also be provided. <br /> b. A noxious weed plan has been prepared in response to the issues raised in <br /> this Section 6(b), which is attached as Exhibit H. <br /> 7. Exhibit L - Reclamation Costs; Rule 6.4.12 <br /> a. As referenced in Section 2(c), A highwall will be utilized during each <br /> mining phase, which will have a maximum height of 21 feet and a <br /> maximum width of 75 feet. <br /> b. The dewatering operations at the property will utilize a 4" pump with a <br /> discharge rate of approximately 40-60 gallons per minute. The dewatering <br /> discharge location is identified on Exhibit B. <br />
